Master Distiller Chris Fletcher has crafted this rare high-proof release selecting barrels from the "buzzard roost" of our Coy Hill barrel houses #8 and #13. Aging in our most elevated and oldest barrel houses at the Jack Daniel Distillery. Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Special Release highlights barrels that have been aging in two of our most elevated barrel houses on Coy Hill. These barrels matured in the buzzard's roost on Coy Hill and were exposed to extremely hot Southern summers and cold winters at an elevated location; the finished product was bottled at a higher proof never seen before from the Jack Daniel Distillery. Bottled in its purest form straight from the barrel, no filtration, uncut between 137.4 - 148.3 proof. This limited release celebrates the unique high proof and the barrel house that is hand-written on the front label. The necker label showcases the barrel number, entry and bottling date.
