Moulin de Duhart Pauillac 2011

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

Château Duhart-Milon's second wine is selected on the same basis as the "Grand Vin". In general, the grapes are from the younger plots in the vineyard. Moulin de Duhart has several characteristics similar to the grand vin, but with less potential for ageing as its barrel ageing period is shorter. It should be consumed younger than its more robust counterpart.

Wine EnthusiastLight and fragrant, it has freshness, attractive black currant fruit and a good sense of style and poise. For medium-term aging, it should be drunk after 2016.

Wine SpectatorLean, with pepper and bay notes, presenting a lightly chalky frame and a core of red currant, bitter cherry and pomegranate fruit. Shows some toast on the finish, but this stays fairly austere overall. Drink now through 2017.
